The over rated T’eo was like his invisible girlfriend on Jan. 7 when Alabama came to town. Why is he even news?
As far as the Yankee press is concerned there is rarely a word about any University of Alabama Crimson Tide player or the most successful college football program in NCAA history. Fifteen national champsionships, 23 SEC championships, more bowl appearances than any university/college, 100’s of players sent to the NFL… Harry Gilmer, Bobby Luna, Joe Namath, Kenny Stabler, Lee Roy Jordan, Richard Todd, Ozzie Newsome, the Hannah brothers, Cornelius Bennett, Mark Ingram, Trent Richardson, Julio Jones… etc.
Don’t worry, keep your eyes on the Big 10, Notre Dame and USC… we’ll keeping pounding away until someday… someone will take notice.
Manti T’eo is a collegiate American football player at Notre Dame University- one of the most popular and successful programs in the US.He told a story of an online girlfriend, whom he never met, that died of leukemia just before a major game. This story built up a lot of sympathy among the public.Turns out she never existed.Regards,Someone Who Prefers Pro FootballP.S. Please forgive me if my greeting was in anyway incorrect. Eddie Izzard was not available to correct it.
Morty, sorry if our news cycle and political agenda doesn’t interest you. Truth be told, the American public has a pretty short attention span and they are probably more concerned now with American Idol and numerous other “reality” shows than the issues you bring up.
