    440RoadRunner: Worse than that; it is amputating the tip bones of all 18 toes, and they walk on their toes.

    Declawed cats are said to be more likely to bite. Declawing, since it involved amputation, can cause problems that require more operations. A declawed cat may also find the litter in the litter box uncomfortable and may therefore use something other than the box. It’s not a nice thing to do, and it causes problems.
