    yup! Miller and Dorsey played the ’bone, Dorsey also played trumpet and coronet. Goodman played the clarinet. No denying old age is …

    It was brother Jimmy Dorsey who played clarinet and alto sax. Artie Shaw and Woody Herman were also clarinet/band leaders of the period. Check with someone who is both old and a musician.
