Oh, I hate this (lack of) logic. It’s like being terrified of all tall blond men because a friend of a friend of a friend was once mugged by a tall blond man.

And it’s even more frustrating when the person is screaming at you on the street or in an elevator, even though your dog is 10 feet away from them and on a leash.

I’m guessing that far more animals are harmed by humans than the other way around.

I don’t know why Koko’s looking so miffed in the 4th panel: I’d think he should be jumping for joy that in the future he won’t be interacting with that brain-deprived, blue haired bigot.

I have met pitbull puppies. Really cute. …… but then…… all puppies are cute.

I picked up two strange (to me) pit bulls who were stranded in the rain huddling in front of the liquor store (it was 7:00 am) down from the grocery store where I was shopping. As soon as I showed that I saw them they both ran delightedly over to me wagging their tails wildly. It was a boy and a girl (I believe siblings) and they were miserable, lost, and soaked — but very friendly. When I opened my van (the back) they were quick to get inside after I invited them..I was quite sure that they were someone’s lost “babies” and called the shelter to report that I had found them. Sure enough! We were able to get them back to their human — a very nice lady who thought she’d lost her “kids” forever. Made me feel great to be able to help!
