Holiday Work Assignments/Homework are very Vulgar Filthy Words!!

You are ‘in it up to your armpits’, Holly. Looks like no TV, no idPod or socializing with friends on the telelphone for you tonight. And I just for fun a lecture from Mom about putting off assignments.

Van, on the Reba show, used to say,“About that”…when there was something he hadn’t gotten done, or did something he shouldn’t have.

Holly is just trying to manipulate the teacher in the same way she manipulates her mother. Val lets Holly get away with it but the teacher is having none of it!

Part of the assignment is responsibility. Having a deadline teaches you to do it on time. I’m glad to see a teacher sticking to her date and not taking exceptions.
