Ha ha hahhh…. nice’s a party

It’s already New Year’s Day on a little island nation in the Pacific.

I get that way a little more each year. Maybe it’s about aging.Oh, well. The new year will get here soon enough, whether I’m awake or sleeping!

They can always celebrate on Paris time, THEN go to bed and celebrate! Uh Oh! Does this mean coming back with a little surprise?

How come Wally looks so out of it? He can’t have had that much to drink, can he?

Spoken like a true parent, “I’m beat! Can we go to bed now?”

10:30 is bed time, irrespective of New Year or anything. Celebrations can wait till the morning after………..when I wake up to a new day to start the rest of my life. ;-) Happy New Year Jan.

So realistic with the kids and their hand-held devices. Last night we were at a restaurant with our 50-year-old “kid” and her spouse. Present at the table were a book, a Sunday New York Times, an iPad, and a football fan watching the TV. Good times. . . .

I know the feeling Joan. We are on central time be lucky to stay up until 11pm we’ll watch New York Rockin Eve.

Well, it’s 11:20 where I am, and I am here, so I guess I’m not out drinking and driving, and ready to hit the comfy bed, so I guess the ball will drop without me too!
