Not only is Danziger generally correct in his politics, he is also one of the best actual artists on these comics. It is always a pleasure to view his work!

DeMint is indeed crawling away. His ONE stated goal was to see Obama defeated and he failed miserably. Good riddance. The nation is far richer with him out of the Senate. He is a true American disgrace.

I saw Ian McKellen on the show, great job of decorating the set.I like his show better than The Daily Show.

I have only one issue with this cartoon. Instead of saying ‘beat up the President’, it should have been, ’put that uppity (n-word ) in his place."

DeMint is not money motivated. Look at the entire picture.

1. Fox news and talk radio are emphasizing:a. The 2012 election was lost because the Republicanswere not conservative enough.b. The moderate arm of the party is “punishing”conservative members by denying committeeships, etc.

DeMint is the most rabidly conservative, take no prisioners, return the country to 1950 member of the Senate. He hasn’t made money, he has used his power to push the conservative agenda. He did not leave the Senate to make more money. This is the beginning of the Conservative Party’s presidential campaign, and DeMint is positioning himself outside the Republican party so he is better able to make that run.
