“Seasons Greetings” is also a way to include everyone, not just Christians. Pagan celebrations in honor of the winter solstice were held at this time of year long before there was Christianity. Seasons greeting is every bit as appropriate as Merry Christmas.

I think if you check out Sunday’s strip, you will see the Merry Christmas wish…he’s just not being redundant.
