My favorite episodes of Dragnet were the ones where they encountered hippies…Always great! They were really funny when you were high…

I still think the pictures elicited by radio were better than on TV. Since Joe Friday was sponsored by Fatima, I could smell the smoke on his jacket…or was that my dad’s jacket?And the commercials: I was allowed to delay my bedtime long enough to hear the Carribean-influenced Mazola song (which was full of animated yellows and reds).Yup. AM radio broadcast in full-color, 3-D and OE (Olfactory Effect).

Maybe it was 27 miles to where the guy dropped his glove. BTW, when did England change from kilometers to miles for distance?

Finding that this strip has been rather one dimensional lately. Movies over and over and over. Getting very bored.
