Most of the ‘mess’ Obama has inherited from Obama comes from his failure to yell at Pelosi when she was arrogantly telling republicans they lost, sit down and shut up. It comes from his failure to daily reach out to Republicans before 2010. It comes from the failure of Obama and the Democrat party to forget how important the 2010 election, and the ability of the winning parties, to redraw voting districts in their states. Obama failed to take one of those ten letters he says he reads from Americans each night, and finding the ones who really need help, invite them to the white house and help them meet and talk to their legislators. Unemployment over 20%, same as at the height of the great depression. Inflation over 10%, much worse than the depression. No new jobs, no jobs program, millions of foreclosures and evictions, hurricane victims waiting for help that never arrives, a government that spends billions to murder Pakistanis with drones but can’t extend unemployment benefits…man, if you’re so up your own butt shopping at the mall that you can’t notice all the closed storefronts, what can I say?
Obama has to win this game of chicken with Boehner. Back to at least Reagan-era federal income taxes. And stop getting involved in other countries’ civil wars.
