Yeah, that’s gotta be it, they’re salaried. If they had any sense at all they’d opt for hourly pay so’s they could pick up some extra money any time for just a coupla extra minutes on he clock.Burl and Dale have it all figured out. And Burl doesn’t “steal” so much as he “liberates” or “repurposes.”

Are Burl and Dale speaking simutaneously? There’s twotails on the bottom balloon. One to Burl and one to Dale.

Nah, Dale… their hourly pay is chump change to them….A CEO making $6 million…. let’s see….If he were only hourly, that would be only $3,000 an hour. Why stay an extra hour for so little?

And even if he made SIXTY million a year… that’s only $30,000 an hour…hardly worth sticking around and missing Happy Hour.

No, poor guys, they need faster ways to get more money… like embezzling, price-fixing and insider trading….

Meanwhile, our petty grifters here find every way to stick it to the company for an extra dollar seventeen.

I’d almost feel sorry for them, if only they weren’t…. well…. such little rats.

Which reminds me…. it looks like it’s time for Joy to actually WASH some laundry.Eek!

Nah she did laundry a few days ago. Remember? Burle lost a pair of undies? We have people milking the clock every day, have to get that few seconds in to make an even min.Gotta get what we can don’t we?

The picture of the convicted tycoon going “Toga, Toga” as he heads to jail is all too true. White Collar crime is “victimless”….just don’t ask people who (legitimately) got stung by the housing price bubble or had their lives destroyed by mismanaged financial institutions or Bernie Madoff.

and let us not forget the Hostess “executive team” that is reaping MILLIONS in “retention bonuses”. They ran the company into the ground….let’s keep them on..And yes, this is the third bankruptcy….and, yes; during each one the union gave up more wages and benefits..Sorry for the rant….no I’m not.

WARNING: This post is the complete fault of Finale (and now Debbie Jordan.) They stirred me up so much that I am not responsible for the content.Question: Are the executives at Hostess part of the 47% that are not responsible for themselves or their actions? How hard are they trying to be among those who don’t pay income taxes?Speaking of taxes: We are told that we cannot raise the tax rates of the ultra-rich but that we can do away with some deductions, such as mortgage, charity and college tuition instead.Let’s pull back the curtain on that, shall we?Jim and Meredith Gotrocks tend not to use these deductions or they are just a minor part of their tax computations. They use far more sophisticated things that only work with very large numbers.Bill and Jane Workingstiff actually do use them, though. So it appears that the whole plan is actually to make the middle class pay for the deficit reduction while letting the Gotrocks off scot-free. The deduction thing is a “throwaway” for them. And while we’re at it, let’s try not to forget just who has made out like a bandit in church over the past thirty years and who has not. The top 20% have seen their incomes rise by 250% whilst the bottom 40% has risen only 18% at best. And now it’s the fault of those “takers” at the bottom and they need to pay.Didn’t the hedge fund managers get a “gift” with the carried interest rule. Don’t the big oil companies get a “gift” with the oil depletion allowance? (BTW, Exxon has a bigger navy than France.) How did GE get their “gift” of paying no tax at all?Don’t forget that while someone might not make enough money to pay a federal income tax, they do pay sales, payroll and property taxes. Finally, they want the government out of the Boardroom but desperately want the government in everyone’s Bedroom.

amen, amen, amen. wait ,WE all know this, how come we can’t elect the right people? Oh I forgot, all the government workers don’t want to rock the boat, they might, just might have to actually do some work.
