I can see this senseless story line going on until the start of the NEXT football season. I also miss the attack of the giant hands.

I’m getting my tickets for the state final. Looks like Milford is making the playdowns this year. I’m just wondering, though, given the lack of Gil in this strip if this is a new coaching philosophy of “Player success by coaching less.”

Gil Thorp’s suspension by the league’s commissioner should be over very soon, permitting him to return to the comic strip that bears his name.

For the second straight season, I find myself more concerned with what’s going on with Milford’s soccer team.

I know we are on MILFtime, but who has Homecoming in November? Football playoffs… I mean playdowns… generally start in early November, and Homecoming arrives in Sept or Oct. Maybe time is just passing so fast because this story line is in such a hurry to get to a point.

Football season started late because we were busy at the Milford Country Club. Basketball season won’t start til after 1st of the year, etc, etc. Maybe Gil will be back by then.

A high school party without booze is terribly boring.
