GM did go bankrupt under Obama. Btw American Airlines is going through bankruptcy right now, but I don’t see the libs screaming at O about it. It’s called BUSINESS you lefties.
The conservatives commenting above show a deep lack of understanding of the capitalist system they claim to worship. If private capital had been available, government funds would not have been asked for. GM had no other option but shut down. Private capital is pretty scared during global depressions, and flees to safe places like government bonds, not shaky car manufacturers.
What does the Salt Lake Tribune say about the auto bailout?
The president also acted wisely to bail out the auto industry, which has since come roaring back. Romney, in so many words, said the carmakers should sink if they can’t swim.
Perhaps it is Romnesia that causes the connies to forget the depth and breadth of the financial crisis. It was essential that GM and Chrysler stayed on their feet. Otherwise, the supplier network would have gone down. The foreign brands built here would have lost their suppliers and been forced into layoffs. The cascading failure would have buried us in another great depression.
Mitt has been investing in America. The lucrative fetus-disposal business…http://nymag.com/daily/intel/2012/07/romney-invested-in-a-fetus-disposal-company.html

Romney has shown time-and-time again that he is morally bankrupt. Negotiating the Benghazi Incident with Al-Queada has proven that!

They did, and now they are still waiting for most democrats to pay their taxes from the last 10 years.

Simply put; anyone voting for Mitt needs to have the straps on their “jacket” tightened.
