I only read Baldo in Spanish to compare to the English and learn to read the language a little. For example, with the help of Bing Translate, today I learned “ciudadanos” means “citizens”. After years of this, about half the time I can understand the entire strip without having to look anything up. So it is a small triumph to me when I know enough to be able to spot a typo in a foreign language. “Drecho” should be “derecho”, like the first occurrence.
We have our ballots mailed to us way ahead of time and can return them anytime from when we get them until Election Day. But I waited until yesterday because I didn’t get a voter’s pamphlet until Saturday.
