And often, either the state IDs are not free, or the documentation needed to get a state ID isn’t free. Shifting the cost is not eliminating the cost.

Well now aren’t you just precious. Because we all know that if they are Hispanic they couldn’t possibly be tax-paying citizens, amirite?

…If people don’t want to get called stupid racists, then they shouldn’t say stupid racist things. Just sayin’.

If she had a better job, she wouldn’t need to play bingo.

Tomorrow, I’m going to vote. If I have to wait 2 to 4 hours WAITING in line to vote here in SC (I miss WA state when it comes to voting because a WA state citizen had the choice to vote at a booth or by “mail-in” vote. They don’t do this here in SC.) like I did in 2008, I won’t vote because I know the man upstairs knows who will win!

I would support that. Free ID’s for voting purposes only. A good idea. Call your congressman and suggest it.

I’m all for that, as long as it is a government issued ID (Fed, or State) with a picture to show identity, and US citizenship (which requires either a birth certificate, or naturalization papers).

Nice try but there is no fee, the ones requiring the fee have been democrats and liberals in order to invalidate the law.
