A politically motivated issue. It was not Americans who committed the hit and run assassination in a violent part of the world, it was a well planned Al Qaeda strike, probably using an offensive video demonstration as cover. Whatever happened to presenting a united front against terrorism. The terrorists must just love the influence they can wield in presidential campaigns.

I’m curious: what exactly would a GOP president have done differently to have avoided this? The track record in the middle east doesn’t offer any clue how the outcome would be different, other than maybe starting another unfunded war.

As Obama stated in the debate, they were immediately busy checking with our people around the world to prevent what happened in Benghazi happening anywhere else, and trying to find out exactly what DID happen, and how to PROTECT OUR PEOPLE!

Mitt was busy immediately, turning on a political attack, before we even knew what had actually happened, or who was lost or injured. He was also demanding we ENDANGER our folks around the world by “knee jerk” reaction to satisfy media and idiots, not security and safety of our people.

Already commented on this under the Robert Arial Oct 17 toon. I guess its a good toon for motivating the bases and keeping the wedge firmly between the parites, but sure doesn’t seem to address the problems we want our politicians to fix.RespectfullyC.
