I like how the ladies aren’t panicking. I think they’ll be just fine handling Measles, even if Macy doesn’t show up in time.Joe Staton’s art is great as usual. Like the ax hanging on the wall behind Gertie in panel 3 — maybe to foreshadow something? I wish the colorist would pay more attention to details, though, as Sparkle’s lower lip is purple in panel one.

Now, for some action. Always thought Gertie as a double barrel type. Maybe, Tracy will just be picking up pieces.

I keep hoping You Know Who will show up to save the day, but alas, it’s looking less and less likely.

Just don’t let Lil’ Attitude see that ax on the wall once he gets back. Kids got an arm! Love to see him grow up and pitch in the majors. Talk about “Wild Thing.” (Congrats by the way to San Fran for their great season.)

Okay, okay. Sparkle, you can call Mr. Macy on that Wrist Wizard. But meanwhile, let’s organize our defense. Weapons to hand include big ol’ axe; coal shovel; hot skillet (that’s always a good one!); and I’m sure that ol’ shotgun’s around here somewhere!Poor Measles. He’ll never know what hit him.

Rule: Never attack a woman in her own kitchen. She knows where all the knives are and it looks like Gertie has a pan full of hot something on the stove all ready to sling. Measles doesn’t stand a chance, especially if his fix is wearing off and he gets the shakes.

Good morning all…

And happy birthday to the others that are a year older (and a year wiser).

Situation here is Southern Maryland is not good. I lost power around midnight and, fortunately, it was restored at 5 am… I’m almost sure it’ll go off again… but with the high winds and rain expected, the power company will not attempt to begin restoring power until after the storm is over on Wednesday. My daughter is coming to pick me up and take me to her house. She has a generator so I won’t lose touch with the world! Reminds me of DT when he was transporting Dr. Mordred and attempted the “power approach” in the “storm of the century”!

They’re not wasting time. I have no doubt Gertie could take care of things but they’re smart to call Tracy ASAP.

Happy Birthday to all the Crimestoppers on the board! PLEASE dont kill measles!! PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE!!!! “A mere flesh wound” is ok, but dont kill him! Honeymoon had a wrist wizard given to her by Diet Smith for helping out on a case, and contrary to popular belief, not EVERY tracy family member has one. Dick, Junior, Honeymoon, Lizz, Sam, Lee, Patton, and that ratfink Teevo all had them. I believe Johnny Adonis (THE MAN!) had a two way wrist tv(?) back when he first joined the squad with lee, but I didnt see one on his wrist when they were taking on Mr Crime and the Gang. Hurricane Sandy has made her turn into NJ and she’s now a category 2 storm, so i am typing this pretty fast so i dont get kocked off lol! theres a few hours i think before it hits where i am…1pm i believe, and its 9:24am right now.. the worst is supposed to be over by tomorrow afternoon around 1pm so with luck my friend’s house wont lose power… even tho i HIGHLY reccommended he go to walmart and spend the $500 for a generator which he refused to do. i was standing on his deck aroudn midnight last night throwing bread to the family of 5 raccoons that were foraging for food… i had thrown italian bread out earlierin teh day.. so i threw out some more white bread to make sure they were alrght… they enjoyed it, and so did the possums that showed up lol!. anyway, hope things work out for the best for everyone affected by sandy! see ya tomorrow! :)
