We once had a lively little black cat who went running across the living room and skidded on the small throw rug, right into the wall with a thud. I said, “Stupid cat,” put the rug back in the middle of the room…the cat immediately went back to the far side of the room, took a run at it and did it again!
Reminds me of a picture book my son used to enjoy, ‘Amos Ahoy.’ Its about a dog who thumps his foot while sleeping on the family couch. That turns the couch into a motorized vehicle. Amos drives it all around town, getting home just before his family returns.
Super Sonic Sophie!.Reminded me of a border collie puppy brought to our tai chi class. After class she was let out of her crate and she discovered how slippery was the gym floor. She had fun running and sliding. We had fun with the bundle of fur with legs that went everywhere!
Lol! This is SO true! I had to put rubber feet on my dog’s favorite chair to keep it from flying across the room when she made her joyous flying leaps!
