No it’s not. Dignity is a sign you’re ready to step out of Cap’s shadow. Of course considering he doesn’t want you IN HIS SHADOW TO BEGIN WITH maybe dignity is a sign you ready to start being Dynaman’s sidekick and looking to quickly step out of his hair gel laced shadow.

Be careful, rejected sidekicks can become super villains who send giant robots to attack your city. he has a cape though so he won’t last that long. Nevermind. :)

Though they rarely state it that bluntly, that’s exactly how an uncouth person thinks. He would prefer that others lower themselves in order to make him look good (and no, it doesn’t work) rather than raise himself up.
