It seems that there must be a different illustrator in the last couple of weeks. If it isn’t simply my imagination, then please get the original back!

Leon, stop being churlish, you first-time poster.

I am amazed that one person could put so much effort and make that much of a stink over the new art. It’s been at least a month now. Get over it. It’s not THAT different. If you love Basset’s art so much go read Red & Rover … he’s still doing the art on that one.

I prefer the new art, and the strip overall is much better, but the lettering is still too small.

I love this strip but the first few times I read it with the current font, I thought the print was off or maybe a stroke coming on…change it back or I must stopping reading it…I do like the updated character art…

I’m indifferent to the art, but the lettering is illegible. Not that this strip has ever really been funny, no matter who’s drawing it.

the lettering is hard to read, and whats up with the new style? i miss the quick strokes of the original artist, it defined “adam” so much better, than again every comic goes through a few “redesigns”. o_O

No need to be rude, Information.Not everyone looks at the funnies every day, or has time to make remarks here. And not everyone agrees with you, either.

Information (or lack there of rather) stop being such an bleeep, would you? Who died and made you king of the comic strips?

sammy and slug … maybe I am being a bit overzealous and if the comments are genuine, I apologize … but there’s a pattern here. First time posters ripping the strip … why aren’t the long time posters ripping it?

It’s too easy to reregister under a different name and make the EXACT same critique. I don’t know. I never even read Adam much, but it got under my skin that one person could keep saying the same crud over and over and no one would challenge them.

Because the art is not different enough IMHO to upset anyone … and the writing is better. Where were all these fans when he was doing coffee song weeks? Basset’s writing has improved. The strip is better … yet people complain.

It just doesn’t hold water.
