Being recently retired form the Michigan Dept. of Corrections, it is my personal opinion that this rings too close to the truth. Prisons are no longer a deterrent from crime since the activists took over and made the experience so comfortable. The criminals go home and brag about how great they had it. I’ll not elaborate here now, but until our prisons are someplace the felons do NOT want to be, the numbers will continue to grow and perpetuate the cycle.
