Obama, Oprah, Whoopie— thousands of others. They all have one thing in common— they don’t worry about their race, they actually believe deep down that they are as good as any white person and better than a whole bunch of them. When a minority individual comes with that attitude, the majority of white people accept them that way. The ones that don’t have the problem that they need someone to feel superior to, and white skin is pretty much the only thing they have going for them.
