The difference is this: Democrats talk about class warfare while Republicans wage it. Example. Look at the disparity between rich and poor over the past thirty years. Look at how wages have fallen for the average worker (when adjusted for inflation) while salaries for the execs have increased exponentially. What kind of disgraceful leaders take salary increases while reducing the salaries of their own employees – or laying them off?
Ima is kind of pathetic. Something very bad happened in Ima’s life, and instead of trying to figure out how to deal with his problems in a realistic and positive way, he’s lashing out at other people.
It’s the old Scrooge paradox: would you rather be rich, at any cost or, loved, by giving away all your wealth? Conclusion; to the “trolls” you’re either a sucker of a blood sucker! Which will you choose?
What the hell else would you call it when the top 1% get their taxes lowered from 74% to 34% under Raygun and the middle class has to make up the difference to pay off the debt incurred?
The really sad thing is “rich” guys like Ima cheer them on while they do it to him..The sad thing is the whining you hear from the left while they sit on their duffs and refuse to get or create a job.
Actually, there’s been a fair amount of anti-Mormon sentiment lately, including ABC accusing Romney of embezzling money from Bain on behalf of the church and the BBC accusing the church of hiring ex-FBI and ex-CIA agents to spy on dissidents and opponents. []On top of that, last summer word was leaked that individuals within the Obama campaign were looking to make anti-Mormon efforts in an effort to frighten people away from Romney.
I’m not lashing out at Ima, I’m trying to understand with some sympathy why he talks about burning people in flags. This doesn’t seem to me normal or healthy, and I suspect that he suffers from some psychological problem.
I’ve got a lot of positive things to say about Obama — though I also have some negative things to say about him. I do believe that his policies are partly responsible for saving the country from an economic collapse, though I think he should have done much more to save underwater mortgages. I think he’s the first president to have made some real progress on universal health insurance, though I don’t think the system they finally came up with is close to perfect. I think he’s been a pretty good foreign policy president, though I’m not entirely comfortable with the use of drones. There’s more, but that’s a hint. And I don’t hate those who have different opinions. I have good discussions with Bruce, for instance, and I think he’s a good guy, but we disagree most of the time. I don’t hate you, but i worry about your mental health.

In class warfare, the side with the most to lose always complains the loudest.

The problem with this cartoon is that Democrats don’t come close to talking this way. Republicans do pretty frequently. 47% much?

Amazing how the “generals” at the top are small in number, and scream it’s the privates in the troops responsible for the war.
