If you have to work really hard to “get” a joke, is it a joke? This is a really good strip and there’ll be another one tomorrow.

Closing time, things always look good or double

Hate to “B negative” but I’m really not getting this one.

Vampire: I’ll have a plasma. Bartender: One blood light coming up.

The bar had blood on tap. Now that it’s run dry, poor Vlad is going to be the supply. That’s my guess…

There is obviously a reference here that I am too dumb to get.

We need to talk to Guy and Rodd and Dan on this one.

This is how “Vlad” becomes a vampire.

OK the bartender is telling the Vamp twins that his bar tap has just run out and they then have turned their attention to the next best thing, the closest bar patron. Although they will be getting two for one. A drink and a buzz.

Well someone’s going to be tapped before night’s out. Perhaps they’ll be playing taps.

I was lost at DOGSMITH’s “is that Mark Martin?” I really ought to give up Brevity. Makes me feel stupid.

Well that’s as good an explanation as any.
