Nehru jackets were popular in the 1960’s, and Ziggy first appeared in 1969. So his clothes have must have been at the dry cleaners for 40 years, forcing him to go pantsless all this time. Given Ziggy’s luck, this almost makes sense.

I do look forward to seeing Ziggy rocking the “Dr. Evil” look with his bald head, Nehru jacket and pants. Although, with his short stature, he’ll actually look more like Mini-Me.

Poor Ziggy! I understand how he must be feeling. I, too, have lost my dress at the dry cleaners. It takes an emotional toll on a person when he or she is forced to go around au naturale because somebody was careless with your only clothing –and for years! I wouldn’t hold it against him if Ziggy broke down in laughs, then sobbed shamelessly until knocking out that old fool.

Perhaps some kind soul out there will offer Mr. Ziggy the use of some spare pants…. if this should happen again? I can’t make such a gesture, though I wish I could.

Though I am a Ziggy’s new friend, but I love it! He was cute, smart, kind-hearted. Whether he was wearing any clothes, I still like him, miss him. I wish Merry Christmas Ziggy!

I think Tom II had time to get a little more mileage out of it for Ziggy’s gentle revenge. I hope all goes well if they meet at a comic industry event.

Getting dry cleaning back 40 years later is sort of like returning a library book 40 years after checking it out. Does Ziggy have to pay today’s rate, or that of when he took it in? Newspapers usually figure out how much a library fine would have been.
