Republicans’ concept of how to grow the economy was shone in bold relief during the invasion of Iraq:
After the ‘mission’ was ‘accomplished’, they decided the Iraqi economy needed to be increased.
Their solution was to ship One Billion Dollars to Iraq in cash (hard paper currency) and distribute it to Iraqi insiders without any accounting or documentation. They were supremely confident that the One Billion would trickle down and save the Iraqi economy.
They finally experienced true Shock and Awe when the billion was immediately spirited out of Iraq and into secret accounts in foreign lands.
That is the exact same trickle down concept they try to use on the American economy — except they get ‘campaign contributions’ in return — with roughly the same results.
Who knows, maybe the Iraqi insiders and Willard the ChickenHawk use the same bankers.
