Had to zoom in to see the plates, but then it made perfect sense. Kudos!

RomneyObamaCare is NOT a tax. The point of having X number of enrollees is to create pool of money that pays for the care provided. Sending sick folk to Emergency Wards they cannot possibly pay for requires TAX. TAX is the RepubliCon is the alternative to RomneyObamaCare, and the TAX is not only money, it is lost human life.

I can live with Republicans, Democrats and the actual conservatives of either party. I want no more RepubliCons in elected office.

The US is pretty much the only (semi)civilised country in the world who can’t get an affordable healthcare plan together, all due to the GOP’s fear and smear campaign. Why don’t republicans ask themselves what that longhaired liberal they like to worship every sunday would do? He wasn’t charging for his healing, was he?

Mr. Bennett’s drawing style is very recognizable because he always rounds off his corners & edges. Unfortunately, this also applies to his thinking. He “rounds” off reality to suit his viewpoint, also.

Alright, DUDE! you said: “The point of having X number of enrollees is to create pool of money that pays for the care provided.”

So according to “independent studies” (Obama uses that term so I can as well), 79% of enrollments result in “subsidies”. In other words tax money being used for that individuals policy.

So 5.6 million of the 7.1 million “sign ups” take rather than contribute from the “pool of money”. Does the math confuse you?

Further, Obama himself bragged about the “millions” of people that now qualify for medicare. So these “millions” take from the pool as well.

Just how large a premium must the 1.5 million who sign up actually pay to build a large enough pool to fund health care for the entire 7 million PLUS all the new medicare enrolls?

Or do you think that we may need to use some tax money to bail it out?

When will you pull your head out of the sand?

The Republicans’ use of Green Eggs and Ham to illustrate the public’s reaction to Obamacare was perfect. They just neglected to read the last few pages, which say:

    You do not like them.
    SO you say.
    Try them! Try them!
    And you may.
Try them and you may I say.

    Sam!
If you will let me be,
    I will try them.
    You will see.

    Say!
I like green eggs and ham!
    I do!! I like them, Sam-I-am!
And I would eat them in a boat!
And I would eat them with a goat…
And I will eat them in the rain.
And in the dark. And on a train.
And in a car. And in a tree.
They are so good so good you see!

So I will eat them in a box.
And I will eat them with a fox.
And I will eat them in a house.
And I will eat them with a mouse.
And I will eat them here and there.
Say! I will eat them ANYWHERE!

    I do so like
    green eggs and ham!
    Thank you!
    Thank you,
    Sam-I-am
