“We can’t return, we can only look behind from where we came, and go round and round and round in the circle game…”

The 112th was the most pathetic congress in my lifetime. A national embarrassment. Please, oh Lord, don’t let this one be even worse.

Do Americans even know what a socialist is? Your White House has never housed a socialist.

Ima, you don’t have a clue what a socialist even is. (As Rachel Maddow said about how the stock market has performed under Obama, “if he’s a socialist, he’s the worst socialist ever.”) On another thread you stated that Democrats control Michigan. Your views on anything have just as much value. Zero.

nothing will get done that will actually serve this nation and it’s people. They ONLY care for their wealthy friends and campaign buyers.
Take a really hard look at the list of those on the left dodging their taxes while asking everyone else to pay more. Try working on your side more, it needs a lot of help.

And your views amount to what exactly?

Hey trolls. Guess what? Your right wing 113th Congress has the distinction of having the title of:
    Worst. Congress. Ever.
Can’t talk your way out of that fact, nor blame it on anybody else.
And now (in my opinion) the 114th is gonna do their best to sink the country within the next couple of months, as they politicize the debt ceiling.

Boehner; He’s baaaack! Why waste effort going up and down the steps with a large percentage of “his folks”, just go straight from one truck to the other. (and yes, their ARE some culls on the Democratic side too, but nearly as many by percentage.)

    HER RUFF!!

Pay attention to the highlighter words.

Modern democratic socialism is a broad political movement that seeks to propagate the ideals of socialism within the context of a democratic system. Many democratic socialists support social democracy as a temporary measure to reform the current system, but others support more revolutionary tactics to establish socialism. Conversely, modern social democracy emphasizes a program of gradual legislative reform of capitalism in order to make it more equitable and humane, while the theoretical end goal of building a socialist society is either completely forgotten or redefined in a pro-capitalist way. The two movements are widely similar both in terminology and in ideology, although there are a few key differences.

The major difference between social democracy and democratic socialism is the object of their politics: contemporary social democrats support a welfare state and unemployment insurance as a means to “humanize” capitalism, whereas democratic socialists seek to replace capitalism with a socialist economic system, arguing that any attempt to “humanize” capitalism through regulations and welfare policies would distort the market and create economic contradictions.

Democratic socialism generally refers to any political movement that seeks to establish an economy based on economic democracy by and for the working class. Democratic socialists oppose democratic centralism and the revolutionary vanguard party of Leninism. Democratic socialism is difficult to define, and groups of scholars have radically different definitions for the term. Some definitions simply refer to all forms of socialism that follow an electoral, reformist or evolutionary path to socialism, rather than a revolutionary one.

Not bad for a cut and paste Wiki article, LOL

Assuming that you have any idea what ‘socialism’ really is, and that this rather bland fiscal conservative President actually fits that mold.

It’s not his color; it’s his political ideology.
But your article is interesting. They call the NCCP racist because "Ben Jealous based his claim on Scott receiving an “F” on an NAACP scorecard of issues that can charitably be described as goofy since many items appear to have nothing to do with racial matters or civil rights. Item No. 3, for instance, concerns banning the EPA from regulating greenhouse gas emissions."
“Goofy” is in the eyes of the article’s author, but why does not judging a Black Man on “issues that… have nothing to do with racial matters” be defined as “racist”?

It has taken this long to get about 50% of the people to believe that the rich need to be supported by the middle class.
