love that basset, Stel ol’ Bel.
incidentally, I saw in the paper this morning that The AccuWeather.com Long-Range Forecasting Team is predicting another brutally cold and snowy … and More Monster Snowstorms for the Northeast This Winter.
so, do what everybody does in this part of the country when heavy snow is predicted:
go to the supermarket and buy all the bread and milk you can find.
also, batten down those hatches, grab your snow shovels and, most important, buy a plane ticket to Miami

Don’t forget the toilet tissue. I hear that’s what disappears first from the store shelves when severe storms threaten. But, I actually like your last suggestion the best. Unfortunately, I hear that Miami is booked solid….full up…..no more room……drat those cats!

I am hoping that our two months of rain absence will prove to mean an absence of snow this winter. Plus I have my fingers and toes crossed for good luck.
Good morning to the Citizens of snow free Dog.
