   Eh, most of them are designed for vehicles built in the 60s. Other than high-population areas, they’re far more of a hindrance than they are effective, as you’re more likely to watch your speedometer instead of the road. I’ve had several police officer friends and acquaintances say that they’d rather have someone drive a safe 85 than weaving in and out of traffic at 60 on the interstate (go to Montana…their interstate only has “safe and prudent” as a speed limit, or the Autobahn in Germany…then again, the Autobahn, and in turn German cars, is designed for cars to go 135+ MPH).

   Seat belts on the other hand…don’t be a dumbass, and remember, just because it’s you that will get ejected and turned into a greasy spot on a tree, think about the poor EMT that has to scrape you off.
