What has it come to when Chuck Asay is openly criticizing Carl Rove?

I would have expected this from Luckovich or Toles, but when Chuck Asay is fed up with Rove, I think it’s time he took himself out of the picture. Maybe then, the GOP can start appealling to the moderates they need and not just the Tea Party.

Chuck never could spell. At least it proves he DID draw this ’toon.

Good cartoon, Chuck. And a message for the leaders of both parties.

My goodness, a sort of neutral cartoon! Of course, if you are a Tea Party type, you are coming at it from the wrong direction.

Karl Rove got a 1% return on the rich guys investment last election so I am for keeping him.

How would the Obama supporters react if Axlerod was featured in the next Toon?

Axelrod in an Asay ‘toon? If its condescending and judgemental I would expect that from Asay. If its neutral or positive I’d be shocked.

I didn’t appreciate what Michael Steele did or said most of the time when he was head of RNC. But he did orchestrate and maintain the stonewall that has become SOP for Republicans for any Dem-sponsored legislation. He also helped deliver seats for them in the 2010 elections. His reward? They booted him out, replacing him with Reince Priebus (sorry for any mis-spelling). He’s white and has a preppy name, which makes him a better fit. Despite gerrymandering, stricter access to voting, and shenanigans regarding polls being open different amounts of time depending on traditional voting patterns (republicans got more time to vote, dems less), we all know what happened last November. He gets to keep his job.

Yes, this is the Republican version of Hope and Change.

You mean the party of evil is self destructing?
Who could have seen this happening…
