Chuck Asay sifts the events of the day through his biblical worldview and tries to persuade readers to see things his way...that rights are given by a higher authority than the governments of men, that mankind is not the ultimate arbiter of truth and that our Constitutional Republic is worth protecting. Chuck believes ideas, not politicians rule the world. He tries to protect ideas which he thinks are good and attacks ideas he thinks bring harm.

Better yet, “Do harm and blame others”.

Or the Boehner/McConnell way: “Harm all but yourself. Then blame others – despite the video.”

Rearranging chairs on the Titanic is just as practical. Instead of 1 group of people suffering another will take its place. There are no winners just losers. Stop the madness & pass a real budget before any harm falls on the economy.

See? The cartoon is spot on. You are proof. You can’t see the Obama fingerprints.
.
Obama is appealing to the low information voter. And it’s working.

We’re into the fifth year of this president who is almost never attached to anything that’s going on in the country. It’s almost as though we haven’t had the election yet. He’s out campaigning on what he’s going to do to fix things.
We have a president whose policies are definitely making matters worse. Yet he has successfully dodged taking any responsibility, and has equally successfully convinced the low information voter that it is all someone else’s fault.

How ’bout THESE finger prints?
gotta cut 42.5 billion from non defense programs and 42.5
for a total of 85 billion this year. So how do you do that?

Well shut down public tours of the white house. Yeah, that will save a bunch. And God knows we need to save jobs like … well … the Chief Calligrapher.

Or maybe Obama could find some waste here:

But no, it is much easier to cut off a volunteer program.

What a sad excuse for debate here. A bunch of platitudes which are unsupported by any observable facts followed by derisive and often ignorant ripostes, then repeat. Sad indeed that an amateur like Asay can degrade an issue as important as the future of our nation into partisan absurdity. Dapperdan seems the only one who makes sense but his cautionary cry of “fix the problem not the message” were ignored.

Like you just added any substance…LOL.
Here in support of the amateur Asay :
“President Barack Obama said he will veto any Republican bill that looks to replace sequestration’s across-the-board cuts with a plan that would give the White House flexibility to selectively slash programs, saying tax increases must be a part of the proposal.”
http://blog.al.com/wire/2013/02/one_day_to_go_president_obama.html
So the opening statement is true.
Now Hippocrates – being dedicated to the art taught to him by his parents devised an Oath that would be required of all his students to take. His first requirement?
I will prescribe regimens for the good of my patients according to my ability and my judgment and never do harm to anyone.
So the first panel is accurate.
Now the final panel is his opinion so it IS debatable. So is this a partisan approach?
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/mar/5/email-tells-feds-make-sequester-painful-promised/
And always there is the constant finger pointing, never taking responsibility for any result of any action taken. Will he claim the results when one of the detainees released from detention (to make funds available for new uniforms for TSA) robs and murders someone?
Nope, he will without doubt blame the republicans.

Since your reusing the same hyped BS.
-
More witless bus bunny rhetoric from the faux noise black hole of the absurd.
Your sources are a bit partisan and in reviewing them they say little but their intent is obviously questionable and dont prove the president is directly complicit in your claims.
-
Since your sources don’t substantiate your claims and your obviously a bus bunny who is addicted to the faux noise bus’s exhaust pipe of rhetoric! you can rejoin your toady compatriots snotty pms and zit blowing smoke rings out your neither-regions at the back of the uranis bus.

“First, do no harm” and then for the next 2000 years the doctors drained blood out of sick folks.
Bad analogy.
.
It just proves the point of ignorance being harmful.

Let me rephrase the header and panel one:
Boner: We will have the cuts I want with the law I want to pass and you get to choose who gets cut so no one blames me for those cuts.
President: No thanks, We will also include revenue increases, just like we agreed before.
Boner: Baaaa Whaaaaa

The House has passed a Real Budget, Harry Reid refuses to allow the Senate to read the Budget Bills passed by The House.
Where was your ire at the Democrats from January 2007 to December 31, 201 when they failed to pass a Budget in 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010? Where is your ire at The Democrats for them ‘kicking the can down the road’ for this time frame? Where is your ire against The Democrats increasing the Debt Ceiling in 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010 instead of doing their job and passing a budget?

Nope, reverse it.. Boehner: We gave you the Tax Increases, now you must make the cuts we agreed to.
Obama: Baaaa Whaaa.
