^You left off BP. Interesting that with their largest fine ever, only their latest, their TV ads make them “the good guys”.

I’m thankful to live in the U.S. and have served the nation, as has my son. I just wish the extremists in our midst on the right would actually read the Constitution, and learn what it stands for. YES, it can also be amended to conform to “lessons learned”, but Article Six and the First Amendment should NOT be changed, ever, no matter how many on the right still insist on ignoring, or misinterpreting, their meaning, especially at Thanksgiving, Christmas, and religious holidays (which I don’t object to, as long as they aren’t shoved down our throats as “government edicts”, which is what those articles state).

Hmm, the whole “if you have two shirts, give one,” sounds like a fairly high tax rate. So yeah, I doubt God finds the income inequality in the United States so terribly low…

Let’s face it: there are born winners and born losers. Now what are you going to do? Kill the losers and harvest their organs? Crawl in front of the winners (often bullies, liars and cheats) and call them “job creators”? Losers are losers because they never got a chance to be winners. Often they grew up in poverty and despair. They can’t think of themselves as winners, therefor they don’t strive to be winners.

Ask some normal worker-bee on the street if he/she thinks he could run Amazon for a day, for real, not for TV. If the person is honest the answer will be “No”. But that doesn’t make him/her a bad person. And it specifically shouldn’t allow the rich folks who DO run Amazon to use that worker-bee as a welcome-mat, either through unfair taxes or “charity” (the thing to make you feel good about yourself if you have nothing else left)…

I guess Chuck doesn’t want us to be aware of the plight of the poor.

How is letting business keep their profits ‘redistribution of YOUR tax dollars’? You probably don’t pay any taxes at all.

I wonder how Assay fits that attitude in with Jesus’ teaching of if a man asks for your coat, give him your shirt too?

    Different brands of Christianity, apparently.

We’re humans. Since you believe in Jesus do you believe he was only human?

Or is it disgusting to not want to be forced to give the money you work for to a baby factory whose family has not worked for 4 generations – or to the too cool dude hanging on the street (instead of working) who is making those babies you are paying to feed and clothe?

Do you watch the news? What are the most recurring themes?

Perps can be a – white man, asian man, hispanic man, or “a man”.
Saves them countless precious minutes out of each broadcast.

Charitable giving is just that – giving.
Not have it be forcibly taken.

Obama is on record as saying he believes in the redistribution of Wealth, and as President, he’s doing his best to accomplish this.

This means if you have more money than me, Obama wants to takle your money away from you and give it to me which is unfair to you.
