All that experience on ‘The View’ and Letterman paying off? How presidential to appear on public tv instead of making hard decisions like how to use his position to give business the ability to create jobs.

Good one. Asay’s making an excuse for Wrongney based on a question that wasn’t even asked.

Probably the ONLY question Obama could answer with some authority!

You should know all about that friend since it’s you and all the other US consumers who buy cheaper imports that have been the cause of all those jobs being sent abroad! Look in the mirror sometime – you might not like what you see there.

    You are thinking concretely.

All we have to do to get jobs back is to lower our tax rates to zero and our wages to below the Chinese. It is simple. Our governor told us so. In the meantime, fees on everything has increased, we have laid off teachers, policemen, firemen and emergency workers. Our state workers have been under a pay freeze for 4 or five years.

And Romney was going to be on ‘THE VIEW’ and chickened out, probably knowing he would be at an intellectual disadvantage. It is hosted by an all woman panel after all.
If he had appeared, would you have had the same opinion of Romney?

Romney is wanting to force through a foreign owned pipeline that refuses to use american steel and promise the people they are forcing to sell property to, to use local workers. In Texas, the home of oil love, people are opposing the pipeline because of the companies practices and because the oil will be shipped to other countries. It will do little to ease oil prices in the United States. Again, Romney is backing large companies, not the average American.
And does anyone remember the original opposition was over environmental concerns from Republicans.

“…it’s you and all the other US consumers who buy cheaper imports that have been the cause of all those jobs being sent abroad!”
    .

    WRONG!

    .
    Frontline/Walmart
    .
I know, it’s Frontline and they’re “Liberal” but the fact in the case are the facts.
    .
Walmart is the largest purchaser of consumer goods in the nation. Walmart helped “Make” Rubbermaid into the best company in the nation to work for. Then Walmart insisted that Rubbermaid drop their prices to a point where Rubbermaid would make no profit, so Walmart “suggested” that Rubbermaid move its manufacturing to China. Rubbermaid refused and Walmart cut them out. The Ohio Rubbermaid factory was soon auctioned off, and the buyers of their machinery? The Chinese companies that were now going to make the product for less (not only was labor cheaper, but they bought the technology for pennies on the dollar!)
    .
It doesn’t indict Romney. But it does put the lie to your nonsensical insistance that if Americans bought American than those jobs would still be here.
    .
Other best line of Obama’s night “I don’t expect those jobs to come back here!” BANG! Smack, get real America, we’re not fighting yesterday’s battles anymore, we’re building for 10, 20 , 50 , 100 years into the future! Those are the jobs we’re looking for!
    .
    He is 100% right!
