   You are an ethnic minority, in zone A guns are banned and it is illegal to shoot people, there is zone B where guns are legal and it is legal to shot people who “may” pose a threat, which do you choose.

   Funny thing, Canada you’re neigbor to the north has heavy gun restrictions and has 1 /10 the rate of violent crime, the abnormality being in the province alberta which is the most gun friendly has the highest rate of violent crime.

   Everybody knows that Canada’s population is equal to the United States and therefore the ratio is perfectly valid!

    Canada does not have the population of Chicago,Detroit,Philidelphia,Baltimore,Atlanta,Miami,New Orleans,Or Any place in California.Maybe you missed the story about the guy on the bus from Calgary to Winnepeg that cut a sleeping passengers head off with a kitchen knife a year or so ago?
    They have really restritive gun laws in Mexico ,it’s not stopping the cartels from getting full auto stuff,anti-tank rockets and hand grenades from Russia,China,and North Korea.Or so the ATF says thats where the military stuff comes from.Of all firearms submitted for tracing by the Mexican government to the ATF,85% comes from the former communist block countries mentioned be before.Of course that doesn’t count the stuff with the serial numbers groung off.I wonder how those M16’s that were left with the South Vietnamese Army in the 1970’s got to Mexico?

    Time and time again the robber has fled empty handed when the person they confront has a gun.
    Last month, a resident of an Apartment Community, not far from me answered their door, and saw the person had their gloved thumb over the peep hole. The resident had a legal carry permit and had his gun ready when he opened his door. When he opened his door, the man on the other side was dressed in dark clothing with a toboggan mask over their face and a gun ready to rob the occupants of the apartment. The resident tool one shot to drop the intruder, they called 9-1-1, and the police were on the scene quickly as officers live in the community. The intruder died at the hospital, our local news reported the apartment resident would not face any charges as the police said they were rightly in fear of their life.

    Also, a few years ago, The Late News in Memphis showed video of a man walking into a store with the intent to rob the clerk. The would be robber pulled his gun from his inside jacket pocket in a ‘Gangsta’ manner. The would be robber dropped the gun, it bounced on the counter, the clerk grabbed the gun as it bounced up, pointed it at the robber who fled out the door empty handed.

    The clerk called the Police who were able to find and arrest the robber as he failed to hide his face.
