@dtroutmaBecause the people in Charleston came together in unity and love of God, while the people of Ferguson came together in unity of racism and greed (looters) and anarchy, the left had to change its attack to the Virginia battle flag and other confederate symbols.
Racism and slavery are a dark part of our history. Slavery was abolished but racism is an individual trait, not a systemic problem, and racism is not caused by symbols of the confederacy. When we start to destroy or hide our history (no matter how dark) we forget our history and will eventually begin to repeat it.
To blame what happened in Charleston on the confederate symbology is ridiculous but the left has to have something to divide the people in the name of harmony.
