Yep, the Obamanation’s empire has been stonewalling and will not allow an investigation into this crime. Why would they since they are the perpetrators of this and many other crimes the Obamanation should have been impeached for long ago? That creature makes Nixon look like a boy scout, yet they impeach Nixon and allow the Obamanation to continue his reign of corruption.

Nixon was never impeached, neither was “W”, so the House did drop the ball in both cases. How about al the “investigations” over decades, into environmental non-profits,, or “liberals”, going back to J. Edgar, through to Ashcroft and Gonzales?

The I.R.S. investigated groups across the political spectrum. You can thank the Supreme Court’s imbecilic decisions on campaign financing.

Agreed, but such facts won’t deter the wing-nuts from screaming “SCANDAL” at Obama.

well if it had been say groups supporting gun restrictions vs. those for gun rights YOU would be screaming scandal as well. But since you hate republicans in general you see nothing wrong with limiting their ability to raise funds and campaign, Why who would want a conservative in office?

I know you think articles such as the one I am going to reference are all lying but I must at least offer you a contrasting view.

Just wait until you are on the receiving end.

wbr: a good start is Coburn is resigning, now if Inhofe, Boehner, Cantor, Rand Paul, Cruz, Ryan, McConnell, King, and all the TEA party morons would join him, things would be a lot better. The TEA folks arguments btw aren’t a pot, but a crock.

Gee, I don’t know too many Tea Party liberals – sounds like an oxymoron. And perhaps liberal groups, in general, don’t try to hide their financial backing or actual agenda. Under tax law and IRS regulations, groups that primarily engage in political activity are ineligible for tax-exempt status. And, because the IRS is prohibited by law from releasing explicit information on applications either denied or not yet approved, then how does such an informative right-wing site like Hotair know that 100% of liberal groups were approved, and why? All told, around 470 groups were flagged as “potential political cases” between 2010 and 2012, including 298 whose experiences were analyzed in a Treasury Department inspector general’s report. About a third of them were liberal or progressive. The targeting also rolled up centrist groups, but of course, it was the right-wing groups who screamed “SCANDAL” the loudest.
