Not only is the horse strong, it is light and agile, running from country to country, popping up, making quick strikes, laying low, spreading fear and rumor. While the military blunders after them occasionally killing a few along with many more innocent by-standers and creating more hatred and recruits. And spending billions that weakens the homeland while accomplishing nothing. The solution is so simple and obvious – spend the resources at home to strengthen the nation and don’t make so many enemies.

The “war on terror” has as much chance of being won as the “war on drugs” or the “war on poverty”. Let’s declare a “war on bedbugs”, maybe that can be won, but i doubt it…

The solution is obvious. To the Islamic Fundamentalist, it is sacrilege for non-Muslims to be on earth

If you want to end the threat against you, get the hell out of their planet

CANUCK said “If you want to end the threat against you, get the hell out of their countries.”

    a) Why should a crazed band of nomads dictate the foreign policy of not only the US, but the foreign policy of other legitimate Governments?

    b) What are these “their countries” that you speak of? These crazed nomads aren’t part of the administration of ANY government that I’m aware of.

@Canuck….today’s “Muslim countries” are 100% due to the original Bloody Sword and conquests of other-peoples-governments. Read ancient history!
    -
@gypsy8….America didn’t “do” anything to “make the US an enemy”…..Islamics are born and brainwashed their entire lives that all non-Muslims are “the enemy”…..plus they claim every inch of earth for their future “Caliphate”……
    -
There is no love for fellow humans, no tolerance for anyone or any faith except those in total obedience to Koran and sha’ria law. Death for Allah is the highest dream, based on what the true God in His Bible labels “false religion”….a Hate Religion from the Lake of Fire. Sad.
    -
It is Biblically correct and morally correct to defend against Islamic Global Jihad. Bible teaches the only salvation from sin and eternal death, by God’s Only Saviour, Jesus the Messiah of Israel. God loves mankind, and commands His believers to love others. Even God’s Holy Judgment on unrepentant rebels is not done In hate, but is the only Justice possible for people who hate the Bible’s God.

Why then are they not going after the Buddha’s and the Hindus?

First, not all Arabs are Muslim.
Second, not all Muslims are Arabic.
Third, there are no Muslim or Arabic armies in the US.

CANUCK: I see you had time to snark at every one else’s reply to your post, but you didn’t have time to reply to mine. I’m kinda feeling left out…

That’s such a load I have no idea how to reply. You REALLY believe that the US response to the invasion of Kuwait led to the rise of Al Qaeda? Honest, you really believe that? That even Al Qaeda would deny this apparently just rolls off your back. Apparenlty you don’t know there are Christians, Hindus, Jews and so forth living in MidEast Muslim countries right now.

They are indeed dragging us around, one of their group killed an ambassador, their phone calls can make us shut down embassies in an entire region, they have usurped the rebellion in Syria and now are the eventual outcome of what we supported.
    .
And you say none of this has national policy implications?
    .
You seem to believe that until these groups enter the US in a wholesale fashion that we have nothing to worry about. You are playing checkers in a world where chess is the game, and you play checkers poorly.
    .
Let me try this math on you. A bullet will cost you a dollar, how much then would a dead president be? Or is the math too complicated? We ignored the Taliban and al-Qaeda in Afghanistan some thirty years ago, and they just had bullets then. About 20 years ago they graduated to box cutters. Do you think they caused a policy change? Do you really believe they are not causing policy changes now? Not simply here in the US but in the dynamic of the Middle East and Muslim nations?
    .
    Are you that blind?
