    I’m not sure how this can be called bruschetta, but I wish I ran into it yesterday and saved my poor macaroni from being mixed up with those inedible yellow bell peppers.

    Maybe he meant the shells are ‘topped’ with the sauce and cheese hence ‘bruschetta’

    Sounds good. Should call it Cheesy Pasta Bake. (4 cups of pasta vs up to 4.5 cups of cheese) Still sounds good.
