Marco Polio is gonna run against a Bush?
Stay tuned for Karl Rove’s next whispering campaign.
Can’t wait to hear the rumors that he’s secretly an agent for Castro.
    Or something.

Rubio, wrote a book in both English and Spanish, campaigned for office in both English and Spanish, delivered his rebuttal to the State of the Union Address in both English and Spanish, then proposed to amend an immigration bill to require non-citizens to be proficient in English in order to be eligible for a green card. I don’t have to fear him to dislike the blatant hypocrisy he’s demonstrated.

Why is it every time a Democrat or liberal voices disapproval of a Republican politician, you or someone insists we’re afraid of that person? Does it work in reverse? You and many others and the GoComics fora make obnoxiously snide remarks about Obama and Hillary Clinton. Does that mean you’re violently afraid of them?

If I were Marco Rubio, I wouldn’t embarrass myself by running for President at this time.

Harleyquinn and Tigger: Please do Stewart & Colbert need the material. Besides I’d love to see a wingnut explain how come they can’t get anything done when they hold an office they seem to think has dictatorial powers. Maybe you would have a chance if you put a bunch of bully boys in brown (or maybe chartreuse) shirts on the street.

No Republican who has any intelligence will run against Hillary. She’s 50 points ahead of any of them, and she’s a known personality, so it’s not like people are going to change their minds. And, the dupe who finally wins the honor of getting beaten by Hillary will be labeled a loser, disqualifying him from 2020, 0r 2024, so no Republican smart enough to have a chance would be dumb enough to run.

“Funny to watch how violently afraid of Rubio the far left loons like Lowe are.”

Violently afraid of Rubio? That’s funny. I won’t dismiss Rubio’s chances, but one look at the comments here tells me that Rubio has a steep uphill battle with winning over conservatives. But, I’d give him a better shot in the general election than the tainted Bush name.

“Neither Marco nor Jeb will seek the Republican slot for President. Both have too many skeletons in their closets to be viable Candidates.
Hillary will not seek the Democrat Slot for President as she has a ton of Skeletons in her closet and her health is another serious issue.”

Not sure what skeletons you think Rubio has, but Bush’s biggest problem is right out in the open: his last name. Most of us are concerned with the present & future, but Jeb will never convince enough people that he isn’t at fault for his brother’s sins. Much like Romney, neither seems capable of attracting strong support from all parts of the GOP, let alone independents.

Hillary’s closet has been ransacked, dissected & examined for stains with ultraviolet light. She has plenty of baggage, but the idea that there is something unknown that’s going to change anyone’s mind about her is a pipe dream.

The “health” issue is more a matter of Karl “Turd Blossom” Rove’s mental health, than hers.

Marco may not be “en” guard but he’s certainly a “rear” guard, same with Jeb, but he’s a slightly smarter one.

Let’s see, a child of legal Cuban immigrants who happens to be bilingual and demonstrates that fact while becoming a politician (strike one) who thinks (as no many of his constituents) that one should learn and use the language of the country one professes to desire citizenship of since after all being bilingual is a great advantage is a hypocrite?

Jase, that confuses me. Please explain how that fact make Rubio a hypocrite. I’m not debating that he may BE a hypocrite, just not because of that fact.

Now on to fear. WE all, every one of us, fear the things we do not understand. So yes Obama and Clinton generate a little fear factor for those of us who fail to see how fundamentally changing the basis for the United States is a good thing.

“That is not hypocritical! Learning and using another language is a great thing. But english is and has been the language of commerce. You want to work and do business, learn english! You want to be fluent and reach the masses, learn another language, Spanish in most places in the USA.”

Rubio campaigned in Spanish to reach voters who didn’t speak English very well, then turned around and introduced an amendment to force prospective citizens to learn English. I find that a tad hypocritical.

“You also call anyone who disapproves of President a Hater and Racist.”

That is a complete and utter lie. I have called out specific statements as racist, but I have never accused someone of being racist just because they’ve expressed opposition to Obama. You owe me an apology.

I will state yet again, that I didn’t vote for Obama in either election and I have criticized him myself. I disagree with several of Obama’s policies and I don’t think he’s doing all that good of a job. That said, there is a big difference between disagreeing with specific policies and the disingenuous partisan politics displayed by some Republican lawmakers.
