A perfect example of why there should always be a separation of Church and State .

Jesus was a liberal – the GOP wouldn’t care what he thought

Among the first generation of the followers of Jesus there was quite a debate about whether cuts were necessary or not. St. Paul won, and thus Christianity was created.

Nope, you are wrong. Jesus was a in favor of the theocracy of “God’s Kingdom”.

And an avid practitioner of it’s policies.

He did say, however, to give Caesar’s things to Caesar as in pay the head tax.

I saw a quote where a Republican legislator said Jesus never said anything about GOVERNMENT helping the poor. So this “Christian” believes being elected absolves him of all responsibility?

Why hasn’t Obozo put a stop to it? Surely he can gain the support.

“The Food Stamp Program is up 70% since Obama took office.”

What’d ya think would happen when his predecessor hands out tax breaks to ship jobs overseas?

"Republicans want to cut 5% off of that. "

Because 5% on them can afford to go hungry, right?

    “The cupboard is bare.”

Just like that link from the Washington Times you posted. What’s next? You wanna cut your own medicare and social security? Why not cut the funding for that nursing home that you’re accessing from? That would save money on the budget (of course that would put seniors out on the street, but hey they’ll just vote Democrat).

Why ask Jesus? “Who has appointed me an arbitrator between you and your brother?” It’s our job to do it…Not God’s…

    .
Liberal interpretation but not accurate. It is up to the individual out of his own free will to help the poor, not aim a gun at you and tell you to do it.
