   A study I recently read regarding the effects of civility and incivility on people who read such comments in forums and blogs comes to mind.

   It does seem like sicentists come up with a lot of “no duh” discoveries. Maybe this is a good place for budget cuts. Sience without direction is mostly useless.

   Or maybe you could read up on why the study took place and what they hope to accomplish. “Rat brain waves sent through internet” makes for good headlines. The logic and reasoning behind the actual study does not.

   Hold the phone here. Are you insinuating that “everybody knew” rat brain signals could be sent through the internet to affect other rats? That it was common knowledge?
