Clothes, not backpacks. They cover the front, the back, you can get it made into shoes for the feet, and hats for the head. Where is NeoCon man to say he’s already invested in childreon’s clothing franchises and the NRA to make sure his investment pays off?

Uparmored backpacks were available back when I was still in high school; IIRC, they had a metal plate that could be slipped into a sleeve in the backpack, essentially turning it the backpack into a crude plate vest.

The designs out there won’t stop a .223 round. Small diameter, high velocity, very difficult to stop. Of course what happens if they start using 30-03 core locked hunting ammunition from say 300-700 yards away, like back in the “Texas tower” incident?
It still boils down to needing a national health care system that can catch mental disease before it becomes too “volatile” to deal with, and limiting the amount of ammunition, and rate of fire in the weapons “fruit loops” can get their hands on.

I went to a rural school where there were rifles in the gun racks of pick-up trucks of the farm kids. No one got shot. Let’s add a few hundred new gun laws that won’t stop anything.
