The nerve of Hamas, wanting to kill Israelis just because Israelis have been killing their people for decades. There’s no pleasing some people.

If Israel had dealt with the PLO in good faith and accomplished things Hamas would never have gotten that strong. But every time Israel brakes a promise (even if it’s only an implied one) the recruiting offices of Hamas have a field-day. And when Israel bombed that first Palestinian international airport that WE, THE EUROPEAN UNION, PAID FOR they really endeared themselves to our hearts forever… I’m from Germany, so I must be careful not to sound anti-semitic, but fair is fair and Israel has to play by the same rules as anybody else. They withhold $100M in collected taxes and custom fees from the Palestinians? No problem, the U.S. should withhold $10 BILLION in foreign and military aid to them…

If they’d used the boundaries of the Peel Commission, actually fairly partitioning more fairly the British Protectorate of Palestine, things probably would have been smoother, with both parties gaining “homelands”. That “hard-line” Zionists have never complied with a single mandate or sanction, is simple history, and fact. (since the late 1800’s!!)
