    Mitt has no problems being on both sides of an issue. He’ll be saying that what he meant all along was the same thing everyone else said.

    I suppose the view of the middle eastern citizens that the US is weak and they can attack with impunity may have been fostered by the consistent lack of leadership over the last few years. OR it may be they are emboldened by the overt support of the President for the actions of the current leaders of the “Arab Spring” movement.

    Foreign aid? Why thank you Brother Hussein but take this slap in the face anyway. We hate you and your country so we can kill your representatives and go without punishment because you hurt our feelings by ridiculing our prophet.

    The Religion of Peace for sure.

    MItt is like Sarah, still thinks “Africa” is a nation. He pretty well proved it today.

    For a real view of adult diplomacy, look at Hilary and Obama’s commentary on the crisis. For an infantile rant based on pure lies and attempts to gain politcal points, look to Romney’s. The man is imploding as we watch.

    First thing out of the White House was an apology to the murderers.

    Having worked in combat, law enforcement, and riot control situations, and with prescription fire, and wildfire suppression, I see folks like MItt and the “right wingers” as throwing gasoline on all those “fires”, while the Obama administration is smart enough to assess situations, and use water and fire breaks instead. And speaking of brakes, what happened when the Bush Administration took all brakes off the war machine? That’s worked out well, and has a lot to do with the continued violence in the region, and around the world. People get upset when drunk drivers run over their kids.

    Lie. The embassy employees were apologizing for the stupid film that started this riot, they were pleading for their lives. The “apology” from the White House was an effort to calm things down BEFORE the attack started in an effort to save innocent lives. Which didn’t work. Find out who funded this stupid anti-Islam film as well as the TIME LINE. You sound even stupider than Romney — which is saying something.

    " and go without punishment "
    So, what “punishment” do you propose?

    “United States a shining beacon” for sure.

    perhaps punishment was a tad strong. Do you think withdrawal of all support would suffice?

    It does reflect my opinion of your comments. Just take it for an agreement and move on.

    @DrCanuck

    You know I have considered that and can see the possibility. What reaction do you think they want? Perhaps to start a couple of more wars and further reduce our ability to sustain our economy at home? Seems a good strategy. I think Obama is too smart to fall for it though.
