I am 80 and believed that I would not live to see what the Citizens of this Nation are doing through the leadership of Obama. Obamas leadership is built on the legacies of Martin Luther King and the people whose shoulders Martin Luther King had stood upon.
Amen, Humph and Chan Lowe

To MLK; I’d bite you, but you don’t want that…and I don’t want to bite you either. So I’ll just bark so you’ll know it’s real.

bell3rose1a,
Thank you for enumerating those that you have.
I was in the U.S Navy on July 26, 1948 when President Harry S. Truman issued Executive Order 9981 desegregating the Military. It took only 250 words.
This is usually not remembered, nor little known today.
D@mn those narrow minded Democrats.

SZ, I think you need to have two more drinks before reading editorial comics.

DHLEAKY says:
“I was in the U.S Navy on July 26, 1948 when President Harry S. Truman issued Executive Order 9981 desegregating the Military. It took only 250 words.”
And it only took another fifteen or so words before it actually truly happened.
Which puts the military ahead of most of the rest of US society.

MLK would NEVER support a man who believes in the killing of the unborn. NEVER. King had class and character, something that a baby killer like Obama knows nothing about.
Obama supporters here who think this comic represents the way MLK would be feeling about now must have forgotten to take their anti-psychotics.♠

DHLEAKY, fairportfan, with you on this. A lot of the protected patriots don’t know what they’ve missed.

“King had class and character”
Of course we can’t vouch for what his collection of mistresses might have done in any given situation…
I hear there’s a boat leaving for Ireland soon if you can’t stand the will of the people here!
IrishEddieOHara said, about 1 year ago
The will of the people is immorality. We will soon see the end of this empire. It is following the cycle of all empires. We are at the end cycle of immorality which will be followed by internal war, rebellion, and eventually collapse. Hope you have a nice stash of food somewhere when the cookies hit the fan.
Dr. King would never have allowed for the killing of innocent children.

You, don’t know what Dr. King would have done and neither do I.
Nor do I care, for a WOMAN’S life and body are not mine to judge.
You have broken God’s most important commandment as found in Matthew: Chapter Seven, Verses One and Two, you have judged and by that measure of judgment shall it be meted out to you!
God help you…

acellist, tell me what you think of Matthew 23:1-7.

Humph, on Matthew 23:1-7.
Although it appears to be anti-pharisaic in its general nature some believe it carries a warning to the church of Matthew not to swell their own souls with righteous self-importance.
But why are you asking me… I’m an Atheist who firmly believes that thousands and thousands of years ago Man was forced to come to grips with the overwhelming reality of the cognitive meaning of Death… at which point humans went collectively insane rather than accept nothingness as the end result of all efforts to preserve their own swelled personae.
Around then the witchdoctors took control and grew that death-grip into the supremely complicated and self-contradictory religious dogma with which we are saddled today.
For example, the religions of the God of Abraham:
Judaism: An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.
Christianity: Forsake all possessions, turn the other cheek, and meekly enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.
Islam: Kill the Infidels(probably too simplistic.)
With each decrying the validity of the other two!
Yet all three worship the same God… must be the prophets.
Wait, one was actually put forth as part of God made incarnate, which could create a lot of resentment… not to mention a little self-righteousness here and there along with Dick Cheney!
