    Easy trigger! What do you conciser “middle-aged?” I think the characters are supposed to be in their early 30s at most!

    good question. Their age never seems to change (not unusual for comic strips) and yet earlier this year Mona ran into one of her students she taught in kindergarten who was in his late teens or early 20s.

    Traditionally middle age has been 40-60, but with non-drug using people living so much longer now that one wonders if that should change. (Drug use has caused the Boomers overall to have the first reduced life span since the late 1800s generation where lifespan dropped from 61 to ~40 from industrial cigarettes being introduced on a large scale in the 1890s. 20 years later, it crashed. Pot has caused an epidemic of early dementias in the Boomers and now is starting in GenX women. However, those Boomers and younger that didn’t use things like that have a long life expectancy)
