   Some of these could also apply to Mona. And I don’t think Michael is a bad person. I think he’s autistic or Asperger’s, and has no idea how he should act. He needs some serious social skills training so he can learn not to come across as creepy.

   Creepy is an interesting word. For my age group, women used it of persons who were responsible, kind, etc. because it “creeped them out”, i.e., made them feel guilty.

   I won’t obsess over Michael’s motivation (or “why”), but he is rude and creepy enough to make people uncomfortable around him. I could unleash my (street-) wordhorde against him, but that’s not necessary; Donna and Mona have got off to a fast start with such language in panel 3.

   Although I always thought of Michael as a little creepy, I always chalked it up to likely Aspergers. I know a couple of folks affected by this, and it seems pretty similar.

    Michael doesn’t mean to be obnoxious. He just wasn’t born with the right tools to communicate properly. His girl friend is one of those rare ones that can overlook such things.

    Your response of “word horde” would be wrong but most people would react that way or more usually just shun him. For Michael social skills are a foreign concept, alien and unnatural. I’ve got that same problem. I know about it and understand it but it isn’t automatic with me as it is with most humans.

    Uhm, did I miss something? Where the hell are all of you getting this “he’s been rude” crap?
    Michael’s always been nice to these two, even AFTER Donna openly insinuated that he looked like a would-be-rapist that would take advantage of drunk Mona.

    If anything, the girls have been horrible to Michael and all because he’s not so appealing, looks wise.

    These comments really say a lot about the people posting them, and none of it’s good.
