I submitted three cartoons to Future Cities this morning. Quick question: if they publish it, do they keep the rights? I was wondering if they buy one or all three if I can later publish them either here or elsewhere?

Hey Dave: You keep rights to the cartoon if they publish them, so you can publish them on your own elsewhere if you want, but I think you there is a 90 day waiting period. You’ll sign a simple agreement stating this if they decide to work with you.
