    And I bet Clyde thinks that 77¢ and 33¢ add up to exactly a dollar.

    You can’t refute Clyde’s logic, because he doesn’t have any.

    @David Winter

    77 + 33 = 110.
    I don’t think so.

    Actually, all somatic cells have mitochondria.
    Only female reproductive cells have mitochondria, sperm cells don’t.

    Last I heard, for the same job and years on the job, the pay rate is the same.
    Folks — politicians and political activists — decided certain jobs were equivalent with pay differences.
    If there are jobs which are predominately one sex or the other, there must be some unmeasured reason women choose one over the other.

    He’s saying that women have a net gain of ten cents per dollar. They earn 23 cents less, but they gain 33 cents back from men.

    what keeps getting lost in rhetoric is that equal pay for equal work is the law. several laws already on the books. just enforce it. the ‘glass ceiling’ on the other hand is a little harder to enforce. but we’ve got enough lawyers in need of mad money to solve that one, too. takes a little more work but lawyers should have to earn the money they make.

    So by Clyde’s logic, should women eventually receive equal pay for equal work they should also be expected to pay equal shares of bills, entertainment expenses, luxury items, etc.

    Clyde should be willing to pay his whole borrowed dollar to any woman willing to put up with him.
    Just saying….

    Either you’re dating the wrong women or, since you don’t mind paying, maybe you’re not offering much else and so attracting the women who care mostly about money. Personally, I don’t like when a man pays for most things. I don’t want to be bought.
